Deacon Mission Statement

Men called by God, qualified by scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, committed to the service of HCOC for the growth of God’s Kingdom (Acts 6: 1-7)

Deacons are called to exemplify what we desire from all of our members:

• Love the Lord your God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength
• Seek to encourage and build up this Church family in words and deeds
• Have a desire to serve, accepting accountability and ownership of any assigned area of service with a spirit of cooperation
• Make every effort to live a Christian life and avoid bringing reproach on the body of Christ
