This ministry serves both the members of our church and also the community with the ability to purchase food at greatly reduced price through volume buying. Members of our congregation devote their time and energy to organizing and distributing this food during the monthly pick-up held at the church building. Another similar area of outreach is the yearly Christmas Food Drive, which provides food to feed an entire family to many needy families, both in our congregation and community.

Do I have to meet any requirement in order to participate?

Loaves & Fishes Ministry is open to EVERYONE, regardless of financial income. There are no membership fees, applications, qualifications, or income limits required to participate. Many families take the opportunity to simply save money on their groceries, while other families choose to purchase tax deducible donation food boxes to bless others, less fortunate families within the Huntsville community.

How does Loaves & Fishes Ministries work?

One basic box of food (a $60.00 to $80.00 value) can be purchased for only $30.00, plus $1.00 supply fees. Each Month's menu varies containing fresh quality meats, vegetables, fruit, eggs, and a dessert. These products are provided by the same distributors that supply our local grocery chains! This food is not outdated or damaged.

How May I purchase a food box?

If there is any problem with ordering your food you may call Mike Ewing at 436-9061 and may leave a message. Must fill out the order form completely including your phone #, zip code, an email address if you have one.

1. In person: We will be open Saturday prior to the dead line date from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. We accept Lone Star Cards, cash, checks, and money orders.
2. Deposit/Drop box: There is a deposit box located at the front entrance of Huntsville Church of Christ building; please put your order & money in an envelope & seal it before dropping in the box.
3. Mail: Please return the completed order form to Loaves & Fishes, P.O. Box 396, Huntsville, Texas 77342.

Angel Food Ministries reserves the right to substitute food items due to the availability, quantity and cost.

When should I pick up my food box?

Food boxes must be picked up between 8:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (no later than A.M.) on the scheduled pick up date at Huntsville Church of Christ located at 3737 Hwy 30 West. You must have your receipt! (If no receipt must show ID).

No refunds or credit will be issued after deadline.
