Assemblies
Objective
Establish an order of worship to insure that all assemblies are conducted with a sense of the presence of God and which meets New Testament teaching in singing, praying, the Lord's Supper, preaching and the contribution, while diligently striving to provide an atmosphere for reverent worship which meets the majority needs of the congregation.

Scope and Method of Accomplishing
A major responsibility of this ministry is the planning and conducting of worship services and to continually monitor the attitude of the congregation to maintain a balanced approach whereby all can worship at every service in the spirit in which God intended.
Provide a mixture and variation to the worship methods considering the feelings and desires of all.
Form a committee to include the pulpit, youth and college ministers to promote each worship service to be the highest quality, providing the very most spiritual gratification and uplifting of the saints.
Counsel and train those serving so that they are properly prepared to handle their particular part.
Plan and coordinate services so that they are begun at the proper time, with reverence, but with a good, firm and enthusiastic opening.
Provide men for announcements, prayer leaders, song leaders, the Lord's table, preachers, ushers, attendance counters (Bible classes and worship services), collecting attendance cards, devotional speakers, and operation of the sound, lighting and recording system, all as needed for each particular service.
Establish some form of visitor identification (i.e. an adhesive identification tag, small brightly colored adhesive flower, or other identification that can be provided at the time that a visitor enters the building.
Provide nursery attendants, men and women greeters for the foyer, for preparing the communion trays, for assisting with baptisms and maintaining baptismal robes.
Provide for the exchange of the contribution to a Finance Committee member immediately upon the men exiting from the auditorium whereby the responsibility of the Finance Committee will begin.
