SHARE groups allow us the chance to share our lives with other people as we encourage each other to walk the way of Jesus. Below you will find various stories of how this happens among us.

Our best discussion centered on the cost of following Jesus and how some of our group members had been faced with the decision of following Jesus or remaining closer to their families who were not Christians.

They revealed that these decisions were difficult and in some instances heartbreaking. However, they remained convinced that their decision to follow Jesus was the best decision they ever made.

Helping Move

We discussed being more concerned about people in need. We need to open our eyes to opportunities to help those in need. The first thing is we must recognize those in need around us and often times we are too wrapped up in our lives to realize the needs of those around us. During the past week we talked about helping a family move. We decided the best way to assist them was a monetary gift to help them pay for gas and incidentals along the way. In a matter of days we collected $320 from our group and gave it to them Sunday morning before services. It was a great feeling to be able to help them in the way we knew they needed it most.

SHARE Group 1 was spreading the gospel via the web this week. They discussed having a meeting called "Monday night for the Master." They also worked on a care package for Titus Marshall, one of our young veterans going through boot camp.
